Wesley Chapel, Elmswell

KLH Architects developed designs to support the reinstatement of Wesley Chapel as a community asset within Elmswell. Replacement of a 1950s extension with a modern facility with contemporary architectural features was encouraged and has successfully reinvigorated a vital community facility.

The approach adopted for the new building is that of a contrasting style that is unmistakably new and contemporary in relation to the Chapel. The new building provides the main entrance to the complex and it is designed within a largely glazed façade that offers a welcoming and attractive frontage to visitors. The glazed front provides view into the foyer giving a sense of the activity within.
