Announcing our new chosen charity ahead of bumper fundraising year

KLH are delighted to announce Inspire as our Charity of the Year – with everything from a continental cycling tour to a mountain climbing challenge planned for a great year of fundraising.

We have five big events throughout 2025 to raise money for Inspire, helping fund their mission to ensure all young people in Suffolk have timely access to services that support education, personal development and wellbeing.

Our efforts will help fund the development of Inspire’s Youth Hub Outdoor Expansion – which we are proud to have designed – that will help bring the space to life.

Who are Inspire?

Inspire are a charity that believe in youth.

Working together with families, local businesses like KLH and fellow charity partners, Inspire provide access to education programmes, wellbeing services, sports activities and career guidance.

Through their work they not only look to improve wellbeing but empower young people to make positive decisions about their future.

We’re proud to be a long-time supporter of the charity and are looking forward to a bumper year of fundraising.

“Thank you to the team at KLH for supporting Inspire as part of their ‘Big Charity Year 2025’!

“Over 7,000 young people need the support of our charity each year. We provide them with the support and guidance to move away from an uncertain future, and empower them to discover their purpose, and fulfil their potential.

“We believe every aspect of wellbeing, be it mental, physical, emotional, or social, is vital to make sure young people have the chance to take on life with confidence.

“With an exciting year of events and personal challenges ahead of the KLH team, they are ensuring young people from across Suffolk will have timely access to support that changes lives.”

What are we doing?

Coining this year as our ‘Big Charity Year 2025’, it’s only fitting that we pushed the boat out with our fundraising challenges.

We’re teeing off in April with our annual golf day at Seckford Hall. Vanessa and Lewis will then be joining the Inspire team for an exhilarating charity tandem skydive in May at Beccles Airfield – free-falling from 13,000ft at 120 mph before pulling the chute and floating back down to earth!

We’ll then embark on a 250 mile cycling challenge around the Netherlands in July. The three-day challenge will see them travel from the Hook of Holland to ‘s-Hertogenbosch, before a whistle-stop tour of Amsterdam ahead of their race back to the ferry.

But the challenges don’t stop there – a team of KLH staff will be taking on the grueling Welsh Three Peaks in September, battling through 18.26 miles of tough terrain and over 2,800 metres of elevation. They’ll then swap their hiking boots for Tyrolean hats as they join us at our Oktoberfest celebration in October. Don’t forget your lederhosen and dirndls!

Better yet – you can get involved, too. Donations can be made to our dedicated JustGiving page – and ticket details for our Oktoberfest party will be released soon.
