KLH Architects have recently gained Planning Approval for a new Paragraph 55 dwelling in Suffolk

The planning approval is KLH Architects' first under Paragraph 55 of the National Planning Policy Framework and we are proud of this achievement for this contemporary design. Emerging from the appraisal of site, context and local vernacular, the design proposes a high quality modern residence discreetly located in the landscape with low level environmental impact. The client’s environmental and spatial ambitions are achieved through the creation of dynamic spaces and zones around a central communal area, which helps to define spaces and zones suiting the family’s lifestyle and giving more independence to individual family members. There is a natural hierarchy of spaces, which are linked together by the circulation space that flows in the voids between the main spaces.

We are currently working with the client to prepare construction information, and following a tender process, hope to start on site in summer 2017.
